In 1969, Robert Redford bought the land now known as Sundance and envisioned the careful growth of a community committed to the balance of art, nature and community. Today, Sundance offers an atmosphere steeped in cultural heritage.
Chaz Easterly is the Founder and Creative Director of Linen & Flax Co., a lifestyle brand providing design services, home goods, apparel, and more. The brand was born out of her love for design, passion for people, and desire to create the kind of environments that families can truly call home.
A lifelong lover of design and details, Chaz never imagined she would create more than just the space her own family called home. But when the recession hit, like so many others she found herself looking for a way to turn her passion into her profession. She landed at Pottery Barn, coming on board to launch their in-home design program. Between her work for their clients and the growing list of friends, family members, and neighbors willing to give her an opportunity to design their spaces, her confidence and calling continued to grow.
The brand came into full bloom in 2015 with the launch of both Linen & Flax interior design services and the opening of the Linen & Flax Home store. Two years later, the brand expanded to include L&F Apparel, an online marketplace and storefront for apparel, accessories, and more.
Today, Chaz operates Linen & Flax Co. as a full-service lifestyle brand dedicated to providing customers and clients with the best design services, home products, clothing, accessories, and more. She is surrounded by an amazing team of like-minded staff, working hard and having fun.
When she is not in a client’s home, working with a customer in our stores, or documenting all things Linen & Flax on our social media, you can find Chaz in her very favorite place—at home with her husband Stuart, their three children, Christian, Jaclyn, and Riley, and their sweet dog, Rebel.
Austin Cohen is a Senior Brand & Talent Agent at Central Entertainment Group (CEG) that is based in New York City. Austin began is career a licensed New York Attorney and joined CEG 4 years ago where he has helped scale programs for performance based brands by partnering them with influencers and celebrities that help drive sales and conversions. Through the collection of data, and the cultivation of specific strategies on social media, CEG has been at the forefront of helping brands reach their acquisition & sales goals. Brands that Austin works with include Home Chef, Dime Beauty, Care/of, Native, and many more. Austin also represents and works with Talent such as Katelyn Brown, Mallory Ervin, Milena Ciciotti, Jana Kramer, Jenny Reimold, and many others.
Deborah Bitton has been planning and designing spaces for many years. Whether it was themed birthday parties for her children, halloween parties, baby and wedding showers or even her eldest son's lakeside wedding, she literally cannot remember a time when she wasn't decorating.
This love of decorating spurred the launch of her Instagram account in 2017. Her overall desire in starting the account was to help her followers create a space that is comfortable, a place where your family and friends can enjoy and relax. Creating spaces that are not only affordable but achievable and realistic is her specialty. Deborah’s Instagram has grown organically and incrementally the past 3 years into a large following of 146k faithful followers. She has collaborated with many large companies and featured on websites such as Pottery Barn, JCPenney, Kirkland’s, Rooms To Go to name a few. She most recently had Farmhouse Style Magazine photograph her home for the 2021 Holiday Edition.
If you're looking for inspiration and ideas, Deborah has plenty of them. While she began her social media account centered around tablescapes, it grew into much more. The many DIY's that you can view on her blog is everything from the gorgeous roughhewn fireplace mantles, barn doors, wooden stairs and complete room makeovers.
Because she was asked so often about particular items that cannot be found at a typical retail store, she launched The Shoppe in 2019. The Shoppe is a curated collection of unique finds that her followers and readers can order. She spends days if not weeks sourcing and searching for the items that her followers have come to expect.
Deborah graduated from Weber State University with a bachelor’s in Communications. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for 34 years and has 3 grown children and 3 dogs. When she's not working on content or sourcing unique finds for The Shoppe, you can find her relaxing on the lake with her husband.
Brand Builders Retreat @ Sundance

The Brand Builders Sundance Retreat is a winter experience designed to motivate and encourage those who seek to expand and monetize their presence on social media. Presented at the famed Sundance Resort in Utah, influencers and business owners will gather together for discussions that include six-figure income tools, publicity training, media branding, networking, pod sharing and content building though Tik Tok and Reels. Set amidst a grove of spruce and pine trees within the Redford Conference Center at Sundance Mountain Resort, guests will also be treated to health and wellness activities that include one free ski pass for every night of their stay.

The Sundance Mountain Resort is located 55 minutes from the newly renovated Salt Lake City airport.
Ubers and rental cars are recommended although no car is needed once at the resort.
As the retreat is on a Sunday and Monday, many guests are taking advantage of the lodging discounts and extending their stay. Host Jenny Reimold and her husband, Nolan, will be arriving on Thursday, March 4, and departing Tuesday, March 9. Utah native, Jen Bryant, will also be spending extra days at Sundance.
Lodging is not included in the event ticket price. All attendees are responsible for their own travel and lodging reservations. Select from one of the following rooms by using the link below. Rooms have been significantly discounted, some 50% off, in partnership with the Brand Builders retreat and Sundance Mountain Resort.
Option 1: Standard room. $229
Standard units are tucked away in the Mandan area of the resort. These cozy cottages offer a queen or king bed, bathroom with separate vanity area and coffee maker.
Option 2: Studio room. $259
Studio units are nestled in the Mandan and River Run areas of the resort. These rooms offer a queen or king bed, bathroom with separate vanity area, mini refrigerator, coffee maker and fire place.
Option 3: Sundance suites. $289
The Sundance Suites offer a comfortable bar style floor plan. These roomy suites feature a queen or king bed, bathroom with separate vanity area, fire place, deck or patio, kitchenette and small sitting area.
Option 4: Mountain Suites. $329
Mountain suites offer a generously equipped floor plan. These spacious, cabin-like suites each feature a private master bedroom with king or queen bed, full private bathroom, full equipped kitchen, living and dining area, fire place and deck or patio.
Option 5: Mountain Lofts. $389
The Mountain Lofts offer a large and generous floor plan. These family friendly suites feature a queen or king sized bed in a private master bedroom, full private bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, living and dining area, fire place and deck or patio. Each also offers a unique ladder -access loft with additionall bedding about the living area.
Option 6 – Mountain Homes. Rates available upon request.

Room tax is 11.72%, Sales tax is 7.15%, and Food tax is 8.15%.

Environmental Impact Fee*: 5% of the total pre-tax lodging room charges
*The Environmental Impact Fee supports the programs and initiatives that preserve the fragile environment of our canyon. These programs include recycling, land preservations, educational programs, North Fork canyon preservation and Redford Center support, and the purchase of wind power.
Covid19 Precautions and Notes:
As a courtesy to others, we are encouraging guests to get a COVID19 test within three days prior to departure. While we cannot mandate this be done, we hope that everyone will act in good faith to protect the health and welfare of guests.
The resort staff follows all mask and sanitization guidelines and has taken extra precautions by limiting the number of hotel guests and activities.
In the event of contracting COVID19 prior to the conference, please notify the hosts and a partial ticket refund will be issued and a link for our virtual event will be sent.
In the event of a mandatory state closure, all retreat tickets will be refunded. Brand Builders, LLC is not responsible for travel costs.
